2020 Canary Wharf Lights Ride

Meet Sat Jan 18th, 15.30, Le Delice, Ladywell, 38 Ladywell. To Breeze or not to Breeze? That is the question. So, despite being hotly denied by the organisers, there is no ride that justifies being labelled as a "Breeze Ride for Men" more than the Canary Wharf Lights Ride (https://www.letsride.co.uk/rides/canary-wharf-lights-1).

However, it is difficult for many of us to use Crook Log Leisure Centre as a start point for rides, so we will be meeting at Le Delice Cafe, Ladywell at 3.30pm to do our own version of this ride.

This is the link for the lights:

We will be on a mixture of quiet roads and cycle paths. We cross the Thames via the Greenwich Foot Tunnel which we walk through.

We will stop for an hour or so to view the light installations and to have refreshments if required we can be flexible on the stopping time if there is a lot to see.

The evening is likely to be chilly so layer up and dress for the weather and to be seen, lights will be needed as this is an evening ride. Always advisable to carry a spare inner tube.

We don't go through red traffic lights: if traffic lights change, the group splits in two and the group that gets through waits for the others to catch up.
