I have been accused of "impersonating" Southwark, but, as has been pointed out on the Lewisham Cyclists Facebook page, there's no point telling me to stop, or I will do it even more!
So, what about Lambeth? A quick check if the internet reveals this:
"Rides: Lambeth Cyclists run regular sociable rides throughout the year which are an excellent way to find out more about our local area and London generally. Most of our rides are architecture themed with a focus on particular aspects of the London environment whether the work of one particular architect or an aspect of the streetscape. The sociable rides are easy going day long trips which are suitable for all. Whether you’ve just started cycling, only cycle occasionally, or want to take part in a fun social event, all are very welcome to our rides or events listed below. No need to register – just turn up! Please make sure your bike is in a road-worthy condition and you have lights."
So, let's have a go at impersonating Lambeth! The Oval Quarter and Van Gogh Walk are excellent examples of "Liveable Neighbourhoods" and they are only a few miles from Dulwich Clock Cafe, one of our Southwark Healthy Ride ride start points. So on Sat May 2nd, 10am, we will meet to do a ride to visit these places (subject to a minimum quorum of three attendees being met). For more details and to RSVP, please go to:
