End of LFGSS Bridges Ride

Kew Bridge

What do we want? Freedom to ride! When do we want it? On a Saturday!

If this is to be the end of LFGSS then we need to mark it with a Bridges Ride.

LFGSS is very important to London's cycling community, as, for the past 15 years, it has been the mainstay for the Dog & Bell Crew, the Christmas Day Ride, the Midsummer Madness Ride and the Dunwich Dynamo. What would happen if it disappeared?

This ride starts at 9.30am at Hyde Park Corner (What3Words: ///books.played.broke).

We're not a secret society - we're not shy about letting people know who will be attending our rides.

To be the Ride Leader it is not mandatory to attend the training if you have already received marshal training or if you have lots of experience. But it is mandatory to attend the ride.

Manipulation of social media in democratic processes, shutdowns of mobile and internet service, and attacks on online activists impact on freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, but also create economic costs, affecting entire economies.

Our site now operates in a similar way to the  letsride.co.uk website. To register for a ride, you first have to sign up for an account at https://cyclistsinsouthwark.org.uk/user/register. You can set up a user profile picture which will be shown against the rides you have booked for. When you book your name appears immediately in an event’s Registration Table. For technical reasons, faces will only appear against the rides after a back end cron job has run, which happens every hour.
